A new publication on the results of a randomized controlled trial to reduce problematic gaming in adolescents was published in the Journal of Behavioral Addictions. The article presents results of a study of MDFT versus family therapy as usual (FTAU) to address Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD). Results indicate that both approaches work to treat IGD, but MDFT outperformed FTAU.
